This I believe s a urn of some sort. My mother bought from a cafeteria in houston tx that she worked at when it was closing. she paid 25.00 for it. It was purchased from a castle in europe in the 1960"s. My mother thinks it came from a castle in germany, not sure where in europe. it is 18 inhes long 10 inches wide and 11 inches tall. It weighs about 30 lbs. I believe is made of iorn. I am not sure.
BEAUTIFUL half round curio cabinet with curved glass. This piece has such attention to detail you will be impressed. It is not an antique, but a fabulous reproduction. The ormolu touches are all around and give it a rich French look. The wood veneer finish is in great shape. (only the back cover piece is particle board) One small nail missing from ormolu in front right at bottom. There is a lovely painted design across the bottom of the piece, artist signed by what looks like A Roso. Approx 64"x 25". Stamped on back Made in Spain. **contents not included
I have inherited this vase from my mother who inherited it from her mother over 50 years ago. It has a lamp fixture that drops into it. It is in excellent condition. It is an urn type vase that stands 17 inches tall. the opening diameter is 8 inches and it is 35 inches around at its largest spot. Paint is very bright, no discoloration that i can tell. I know nothing about it other than what the markings on the bottom say. It is covered with half woman half horse Pegasus type characters and has 3 chicken feet on the base. The bottom has the markings of a swan, the word pesaro and a capital M
