Believed to be a late 1800's to early 1900's (Italian?) Savonarola Dante Chair. Missing one piece of the face on lower right side when facing chair. Bottom was reinforced prior to my purchase.
We came across this dresser when cleaning out my father in law's house. A quick google search led me to believe it may possibly be a more valuable piece than we originally thought. I would be appreciative of any additional information. Thank you.

1. MARY, MOTHER OF CHRIST
2. SACRED HEART (JESUS)
ARTIST: VIRGINIA BRODERICK
Very Nice condition. There is some minor wear at the corners. They do not appear to have ever been framed or tacked to a wall. Large measuring 18" X 24" Beautiful colors. Both have a small paragraph at the bottom of the picture with a description of the picture. There is some minor discoloration on the picture of Mary where they layed against each other in between two pieces of cardboard. I purchased these at an Estate sale. I would love to know the value of these items. I was lucky enough to find some wonderful information about the artist Virgina Broderick and her work as an artist in the Contemporary style.
