I recently purchased this at an estate auction, and cannot identify the pattern.
It is a serving bowl, approx. 11 1/2" across and standing 3" tall. It has a pedestal base. I beleive it is stoneware, not china. The background is a mattled colbalt blue. The design is clusters of white flowers (chrysanthemums?) on white branches. The overall affect of the pattern and design of the bowl, gives an Asian feel.
The botton is marked Rosentahl Selb Germany in green underglaze. Directly below that, in what was black or dark blue lettering was, I believe, a pattern name. It is almost completely obsured. Then, in dark blue, and blurry, it appears to say handpainted, and below that initials w and m.
I've searched online and literally have looked at several thousand images, but I haven't seen this pattern. Can anyone help?
This dresser is 4ft 6in and in beautiful condition. The top drawer has many sections for keeping your things organized. The bottom drawer is seperated into 3 sections. The drawers are dovetailed, although I dont see glue. The back is screwed on. The handles are brass (bail?) single bar. I have looked around the internet and havent seen ones that are exactly like them. The drawer fronts are bowed and the dresser looks as though it is two peices (it is not) 3 drawers over 3 drawers. There is a keyhole on the top drawer. The drawers have a wooden runner down the center (inside the carcass) and there are little blocks at the end of the space to stop the drawer at a certain point. There are no metal inlays or inlays of other woods. It is extreemly sturdy with no signs of disrepair anywhere! Its as though it was used for a short while, put in the attic and forgotton.
Hello, I have recently come into possession of some original 196X's sealed Aurora monster models, among others and was looking to sell. I know they are decently valuable as in the past I have sold one for 350$. I feel these may be of more value and would like a proper appraisal. Perhaps someonecould point me in the right direction. I included an example image of the wolfman, I have most of the series in the original cellphane.
