The only information I have about this vase is that it was made in Czecho-Slovakia. It was inherited from a great aunt and is in excellent condition. No chips/cracks that I have detected.
Please advise on the value of a large bar mirror I own: J&J Morison's Brewery bar mirrorAppx 40 x 72 (with frame)Etched mirror with wood frame (some inlay missing on frame) A client owned this when living in England, came from an English pub. He had it in his apartment for 20 years, brought it with him when he moved to NYC in 2004. Wife didn't want it and gave it to me during renovations. Some age blemishes to silver backing, but overall condition is good (pictures were taken with mirror dusty - much better in appearance when cleaned) Thank you for any info you may provide.-Tom Kenny tom kenny[email protected]917. 626-2076 cell917. 522-9639 fax
This is an oyster dish I got at an estate sale in Greenville, SC. It is approxiamately 8.5 inches wide. It was made in Portugal, in the city of Alcabaca( per markings on the back)It is multi c- colored with floral designs and a solid turquoise background. I believe the artist was J. Roca or Rosa, I cant quite make it out. It has waves around the outside edge I am assuming for decor or to keep the oysters in) Really I cant describe it better than the picture.
Hi, I found this with my metal detector in a newly ploughed field in southern norway. Anyone know what it is and what it is used for? What is the estimated value?
The photo attached is of a hand painted chest and never been refinished. It’s about ‘4 high, “30 wide and has a lower shelf. its been in my family 80 + years.
