WM Rogers Tea Set

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Good
Description

I just bought a WM Rogers tea set.  The only marking on it is the eagle and star with WM Rogers.  I have searched online and only found one set that looked like mine.  Most sets have four legs on the bottom of the pieces.  However, mine has a single round stand under the center of the pieces. The ones with legs were going for $40-$100 while the only one without legs was $475.  This sparked my interest.  I only paid $20 at a flea market for the set, and I plan on keeping it for display at my home no matter the value. Also, it seems I am missing the platter that the set goes on.  However, I plan on finding the piece that completes it.   The first question I have is how can I tell if the piece I have is coin silver or silver plated?    The second question is, what are the possible values of my set?  Thanks for the help!

Kremetz neckless

Category
Jewelry and Gemstones
Condition
Excellent
Description

This neckless is 14" long, looks like gold but I no that this company was known for their gold plated jewerly. It Has 6 gold leafs that are 1/2" long and beautiful scrolls with 13 pearls.. it has 6 sections each with 3 pearls and 1 leaf and the scroll which are connected with a pearl to each of the other 5. It has a different kind of a chain not sure what it is call, but unusual. The clasp is sleek, beautiful and with the name Kremetz on it. So tiny... you have to squeez one end of the clasp looks like a V to release it from the other side. You need to see it. I have searched for this on line with nothing that even looks like it. Although I have seen the same leafs on other peices.  Man I hope you might have an idea of what Im talking about. TY
