Oval Cocktail Table

Category
Furniture
Description

This wooden table was my great great Aunts. It's at least 70 years old. I cannot find a name/manufacturer anywhere on the table. Just looking to see if anyone knows the manufacturer, date range, or how much it might be worth.

Oil on canvas

Category
Fine Art
Description

This is a picture of what looks like a bearded old scholar wearing a round hat. I believe the signature reads Schaepman, but i am not sure of all the letters. It is signed in red. It is approximately 10x12 and is in a big square frame. Someone else brought up the same artists name, also written in red on this forum. The picture they included is similar to the style of my painting. I have included a link to the other painting below

http://www.instappraisal.com/antique-appraisal/oil-painting-canvas-4

If anyone has any information about this artist, or how much it may be worth, i would appreciate it!!

Utahn Saddle

Category
Other
Condition
Good
Description

This is a saddle my mom bought for me about 7 years ago at a garage sale for only $200, but I am sure it is worth more than that. It is an old Utahn western saddle, double skirts, no tooling or silver. The serial number is 69. The gullet measures 7 1/2-8 inches and the skirts are 26" at the longest point. It has a 14" slick seat. It came with a rear cinch, which I believe is the original matching one but there's no way for me to be sure. The fleecing is real sheepskin, not that fake felt crap. I'm pretty sure the tree is wood and rawhide, but it's hard to tell. This saddle is HEAVY (I would guess about 30 pounds. I have only seen a few other Utahn saddles on the internet, and they sell for a lot of money ($900+). Mine is very scuffed up, but the stitching is in excellent condition. My endless searches have turned up little to nothing about the Utahn saddle company, except that it was a highly respected company that didn't seem to be in business very long. This saddle is just slightly too narrow for my horse, so I have to part with it and get a different one. I would never sell this if I didn't have to. I love this saddle and have put tons of trail miles in it, roped out of it, and even showed in it. I would like to know how much it is worth before I put it up for sale so I don't get less than it is worth. It would also be neat to know when it was made, if possible. A saddle collector told me not to take less than $500, but I would like a second opinion.
