We bought this at a private sale 30 years ago. I believe it i9s a bed head from a 4 poster bed however we seem to only have 2 posts. I have googled the names at the bottom and drawn a blank.......
It has 'PG Lavarante' and ' Londinio 1923 Decoravit ' written in the bottom Right corner.
This appears to be some kind of collection of the ends of pens..There are 3 different sizes mounted on a 2x6 board..has various logos such as Amoco, Mrs filberts, spring air, green stamp, NFL alumni, Miller high life, Ford, Total of 26 caps on board..might be a salesman sample ..Any help would be appreciated ..thank you
This is a large antique steamer trunk my mother bought a few years back. I think the previous owner repainted it but it's in very good condition. The inside is all original and features three pictures, a removable tray which has two compartments (one is a hat box, not sure about the other), and two compartments built into the lid. The ones in the lid have metal latches to keep them shut and are all still intact. The inside hinge is broken but it still opens and closes properly. On the back bottom corner it is dated Aug 3, 69; the front locks are dated July 1, 73. The wood is in great shape on the inside and the outside seems to have only one small scuff on it.
