unknown hallmark

Category
Other
Description

I've had the knife/dagger looking thing for over 20 years but I'm not exactly sure what it is. There is a hallmark on the base of the blade that appear to be 3 S's surrounding what appear to be a cross. It is very old looking and has a lot of details. The blade slides into a case that matches the handle. Not sure what material the case or handle is made of.

Pre 1800 Sterling Candle Holder

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Good
Description

I had the item come in my shop today. From all the hallmarks it referenced online I think this item is rather old. I have photos of the hallmarks.

It looks like London and pre 1800. Can someone else look at the pictures and supply some info?

Description

I have a full service , Colonial Pottery china.  No missing pieces, it is in excellent condition, I have never used it, although it has been used by my grandmother a few times.   I suspect my Grandmother brought it with her from England when she moved to the U.S. in 1930.  It is is clearly labeled on the back, please examine pictures.

Thank you, I have no other ideas what to tell you, I am not versed in this subject.
