I have a table, 6 chairs and a buffet that has the name North West Chair Co. Tacoma on a label on the table. This set was in an old house in arizona when we moved into it in 1960.
This statue was given to me by my great aunt almost 50 years ago. It stands 18 inches tall of which 6 inches is the base. There is the number 69 etched in one foot.
I dont know a whole lot about these, I do know that its from 1890, Its made by Silent giant and it was used as a train style school desk . They were made up until 1920 and this particular model has the hole in it for ink i assume. Its All original , not refinishings and no after market parts or paint. There is no rust, however in 2 spots where the wood is jointed together there is a slight bit of seperation . Theres no major damage, mainly scratches and dents from use over time.
