Louis Dauphin Etching of House

Category
Fine Art
Condition
Good
Description

This is an etching that I purchased from a resale shop for $5.00. My husband and I have done some research over the internet and have so far found that the artist is Louis Dauphin who lived from 1885-1920 something. He was a french artist and made several watercolors and etchings.

The print is about 20 inches by 18 inches. It is signed in pencil on the right lower corner. On the lower left side there is a blankstamp that has TXH in the center and around the TXH it states estampe cercle rairte. The stamp is not 100% clear but this is what I get from it. Then in pencil right next to the blankstamp is written 3/40.

If you can give me any information on the print I would greatly appreciate it.
