I just bought a saddle. It looks to be very old. It has US FSW stamped on the right front flap and the number 27 stamped under the flap, also has wooden stirrups. The manufacture says D.A. Moore Louisville KY
I found these unique candlesticks at a resale shop that was going out of business and had never seen any that were similar. I want too see if anyone else had run across any and if they knew the value. I believe they are brass but cannot tell for sure. It has roses, Lilies and daisies with leaves all on it that screw on. Seven candle holders. Very unique.
From what I have found out about this coffee pot so far it was made approx. 1857. It has been in my husbands family for generations. It was made by J.C Mooore and Son and is in excellent condition.
This alabaster statue is signed, but I cannot make out the full signature. Seems to be something like: "G. Car...." Measures 16 inches tall, 6 inches wide across the shell & about 5 3/4 inches across the marble base. The sticker on the marble base seems to indicate it once cost $1150.00. Hoping someone will recognize the artist or be able to tell me what the value might be. Thank you!
This thermometer sat in my father's barbershop in the 50's; I have no idea where he got it. It is brass with a marble base. Mercury-filled thermometer. It is almost 9 inches high. Brass is cracked at the top left side. No maker's marks of any type. Any ideas about age or value?
