Very old, very thin, white and yellow with raised gold flowers. The bottom markings are what I am assuming to be three anchors and 3 clams with hand painted in Japan in a circle around them.
This chair was in found in the attic of my sisters home, It has been painted as you can see. She was told it is a Ballister from the 1700's ? We found a child ballister chair on E-bay but her chair is larger. Do you have any information on this and how much it might be worth?
This pocket watch is a 17 jewel Rockford. It appears to be in good shape, runs and keeps time. The best I have been able to track down is was made in the late 1890s possibly the very early 1900s. Unfortunately I don't know very much about it but am still looking.
This desk came to my father through a friend. It is at least 50 years old and has a thick slate insert where there is open space on the top of the desk. The desk needs some glue and support for the center because it now sags when the slate is laid on the top. the slate measures 30" x 35 1/2" by approx 3/4" thick and is dark in color with a few light scratches.
The desk has a distinctive design and i'm wondering if it 's worth anything?
