This is a snakeskin drum with carved indented face. There are 2 holes which look work around as though was used as a drum round someones neck. The inside has long wooden spikes pushed in to hold the snakeskin tight. The bottom of the drum looks to have suffered water damage at some point and it has caused some of the bottom to have been lost.
Bought at an estate sale and think it is a valueable piece but not sure. Depicts four seasons on what appears to be rough porcelain. Top and bottom is smooth porcelain. 4.5" in diameter opening, 11" tall, 4" in base diameter. No cracks or nicks. Anyone help in identifying?
