This was given to my husband after his grandmother had passed. We are curious as to what it is worth if sold as the set and also any general information about this pattern. We have been looking on the internet for the pattern and we haven't seen anything about it. The only information that we have be able to find is the maker, date range, and pattern type. There is light crazing on both pieces. Any information that we can obtain on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I HAVE THIS FURNITURE SET I BOUGHT SECOND HAND. SOMEONE ELSE WAS REALLY INTERESTED IN IT IF I WASN'T GOING TO BUY IT AT THE TIME, HE TOLD ME THAT THE SET WAS DEFINITELY CIRCA 1930'S AND WORTH SOMETHING.
THE SET DEFINITELY LOOKS VINTAGE BUT I JUST DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FURNITURE SO I'D LOVE SOME INPUT FROM PEOPLE WITH MORE WISDOM AND EXPERTISE ON THIS TOPIC.
I TRIED TO BROWSE PICTURES OF VINTAGE FURNITURE TO FIND SOMETHING SIMILAR BUT HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE DRAWER HANDLES WHICH LOOK ORIGINAL TO ME, THEY ARE METAL ON THE INSIDE, ROUNDED WITH PLASTIC/LUCITE IN A BRIGHT BLUE COLOR AGAINST BLOND WOOD. I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF WOOD IT IS.
DUE TO MY LACK OF KNOWLEDGE I THINK ITS BEST THAT I LET THE PICTURES TALK. I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY BRAND MARKS ON THIS SET.
Very special piece..I can't find this anywhere, and it looks REALLY old. In excellent shape! Just marked with a simple "X" impressed/carved on the bottom. I was hoping possible ancient redware, but I can't tell because of the white drip-pattern. Weighs about 5 pounds, so it's heavy. Is that a flambe glaze? Pitcher/Jug is almost 12 inches high. No cracks very solid. Pretty dark-red/maroon color. Maybe I can put in in my store? Thanks guys! :)
The mirror is rectangular in shape, dark frame with a clown. There is a globe that says "The Greatest Show On Earth". On the back it says Chicago IL, 1974, Barnum & Bailey. I tried looking it up online but could only find other items by Ringling Bros. Trying to find out what it is worth, information would be much appreciated.
