Hello, I'm trying to find the value of a vase I have. Based on the research I have done, the makers mark appears to be Wallendorf. The mark is a w with a line under it. From what I found it looks to have been the mark used around 1800 but I may be wrong. The vase is blue with hand painted flowers. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
This is a framed woven tapestry/needlepoint of King Solomon judging the two woman who layed claim to the baby that was alive. The piece is 18 by 14 in size which I haved owned for over 25 years. The back of the work is stamped Judgment De Solomon D'apres Ruben and has Eiffel (a picture of the Tower) Paris.
I would like to know if anyone knows anything about this type of art work which is definitely many years old.
