John Maddock and Sons Royal Vitreous Rococo Serving Platter

Category
China
Condition
Good
Description

I have a large John Maddock and Sons Royal Vitreous Rococo serving platter with the 1880-1896 trademark. It measures 16" long x 11Âľ" wide, and it has a green floral pattern around its scalloped edges. The number 5, which is the same size and heaviness as the word ROCOCO, is stamped about three inches from the trademark. The platter has no crazing, however it does have some scratches from use, but you can see them only if the light hits them at a certain angle. There is a small chip under one of the edges, and the rim on the bottom is worn and discolored from use. It also has some manufacturer's flaws. All in all, it's in very good condition. I was shocked to find it's as old as it is.

Two of the pictures I posted are of what I first thought was a manufacturer's flaw, but now that I took pictures of it, I can see it's a mark with an L under it.

I've spent quite a bit of time online trying to find another platter like it. I've found some that are the same size and shape and have the same floral pattern, but it's always blue, not green like mine.

I'd really appreciate it if someone can help me out with this.

Antique Slag Glass Lamp

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Good
Description

The lamp has six panels of milky, caramel and white stained glass. The body of the lamp resembles a womans figure, the lamp weighs approximately (I'm estimating) 20lbs. The lamp is signed, although I am unsure of the maker, the symbol is found under the (I'm assuming) wrought iron cap, used to hold the the shade in place. The symbol can also be found on the underside of the base of the lamp. The lamp symbol has 3 interlocking C's and the number 5, the image resembles- cCco . The lamp shows signs of age, the iron separator that holds one of the panels, has split at the top of the shade, but the stained glass panel still fits securely in the shade(also pictured), also the metal is exposed in some places along the shade (pictured),  I hope someone can help me find out the value and maker of this beautiful lamp.
