Coin possibly?

Category
Coins and Currency
Description

It seems to be either a coin or possibly a button. It is very thick and the back is completely rusted. I looked at it with a magnifying glass and the design appears to be two torches crisscrossed with a snake wrapped around the middle.

Vintage Japanese Geisha Doll

Category
Asian Art
Condition
Good
Description

I have a silk Geisha doll, recently acquired. The doll has human hair, silk fabric construction, silk clothing, and is posed in a sitting position. The doll has apparently been sitting in an attic or somewhere that it collected a layer of brownish dust. The doll has seen a little wear and tear, but given the presumed age (around WWII) and the ages of the previous owners, some of this is expected.

The doll is attached to a light "paperboard" foundation covered in a fine bamboo weave trimmed in fabric. This strikes me as rare because I had no success finding any Japanese Geisha doll images on the internet that resembled this one, clothing colors notwithstanding.

Embrace

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

I am not sure if this is worth anything. I have a set of two paintings. The first is 5" x 8". On the back it is stamped " Embrace". The second is about 4" x 5" and has "Coupled Grace" stamped on the back. Both have Windsor Mode styled by Illinois Mldg. Co. on the back and both have a stamp in red ink -P.148-11. These are both oil paintings of a male and female ballerinas. The name "Gina". Is on the front. I know nothing about paintings, but wanted to see if these are worth something.

De Laval Cream Separator No. 10

Category
Other
Condition
Good
Description

I have acquired a De Laval Cream Separator No. 10 to sell for one of my consigner's. I am baffled as to what they are worth. This piece has all the original parts. You can see that it has not been repainted, and that there is evidence of use, as on the spinning wheel, you can barely read the message about calves and cows.

This is the split wing make, where there are 2 pedastools, and like said before it has all the parts and compnents. Not rusty, a few knicks in the paint here and there, but more evidence of wear and tear.
