Antique Lamp - Woman with Buckets

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Fair
Description

We are thinking the lamp is from the 1950's

It has a lead statue covered with enamel - woman has two buckets with a yoke across her back.

Could be a maiden as a more appropriate title.

No names or markings that we are aware of on the bottom.

We are trying find out any information we can about this - what the proper title is, who makes it, and of course what it is worth and depending on that perhaps where we should go about selling.

Possible antique Furniture piece, need help identifying it!

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

So I am new to this sort of thing. This piece is what looks almost like a 2 door bureau. As it turns out it actually pulls out and becomes a 6 foot long table. I think it is pretty old but am not sure. the tag on the back says taylor-jamestown coorperation #840, Article-triplex and the finish is cherry. That is all I have on this and any help or interest in it would be much appreciated. In the attached photo it is not pulled out the entire way and the leafs are not in place although I do have them.

Fry & Blackhall Chair -1940's Club Chair - PLEASE APPRAISE...

Category
Home Furnishings
Condition
Excellent
Description

This club chair is very heavy and very comfortable; the arms seem to hug you.

  • The current upholstery is a yellow/gold, navy, soft turquoise velvet stripe.
  • The two front feet are carved walnut and the two back feet are simply cut walnut.
  • The construction underneath looks exceptionally solid.

This chair is far more comfortable than many modern ones we've sat in!

Any info would be greatly appreciated and thank you very much in advance to everyone for your help.
