Description

Found this in a job I was doing, and they did not want it. I know nothing about it and would appreciate any advice or info! Would really like to get the history on it before finding someone who would restore this piece!

Vintage "River Bourgeois" Print

Category
Other
Condition
Good
Description

This is a vintage print depicting a River Bourgeois, Nova Scotia harbor.

Framed and matted, no glass.

It is signed with: "River Bourgeois" J.W. 7/91 in the right lower corner in kind of gold yellow color pen.

On the back, there is a sticker of the framing company/gallery.

Believe "Bleupaysage" In French refers to similarity with Shagall's blue tones.

3/6 is the number of limited print, where 6 is very limited.

11 by 13 is the dimensions of the framed object.

Gloucester could be one of the two galleries in Ontario: Ottawa or Orleans.

Here their history can be reviewed: https://arteastottawa.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Complete-Article-Arteast-History-1990-to-2005.pdf

I tried to find out who the artist is, but had no luck.
