Unusual cabinet with tall legs. The small door in front opens to full size cabinet space. We are very curious what this cabinet is intended for because of the unusual proportions. Not positive it is Indonesian, just a guess.
This is a large framed picture, a plaque on the front says 'Harlequin on Horseback' 'Picasso'. On the back there are 2 stickers: 1 says the title and 'Picasso' again, then (1881- ), oil on cardboard, 1904, from the collection of Henry L Mermod, Laussant, Switzerland... the other sticker says Simmons Fine Art, High Street, CrOydon... I have uploaded pics- do you think this could be worth anything..?
There are a few dings around the top and fading paint on top and around legs. The 3rd drawer handle is missing a screw but its an easy fix we have not gotten to yet.
This shows mostly what I would consider normal wear and tear with some wood corner rubs. The backsplash which I believe is porcelain tile shows some spider webbing in the burgandy glazing. The carrara marble has what looks like a paint spot on it which looks like it could be scraped off. As for what I would consider damage, the bottom right support bracket is cracked and the glue/nails have pulled up and someone has added a magnetic closer to the inside of the door.
Is this a worth while piece? Should it be refinished? We have it sitting collecting dust as it doesn't match any of our decor and we don't want it to go to waste.
