1968 Custom Made Langlitz Motorcycle Racing Jacket

Category
Vintage Textiles and Clothing
Condition
Good
Description

Hello!

I have a 1968 Langlitz custom made motorcycle racing jacket I was hoping to get appraised. The jacket overall is in great condition but could use a dry clean. (is this advisable?)The only noticeable damage is a small hole near the interior arm hole and some petina on the zippers. I don't know much about the jacket so any insight would be very much appreciated!

Thanks,

Chris

Gorham Bronze Thurible

Category
Metalware
Condition
Good
Description

This is an item made by Gorham.  I contacted the Lenox/Gorham/KirkStieff Company in 2004.  According to their archives it was made about the time of WW1 (late teens or early twenties).  They were not able to tell from my photographs if there was any possible silver-plating or gilding over the bronze.  They were gracious enough to send me a xerox of an old production photograph of model #3316 (mine is labeled #3391).  Other than the finish showing signs of wear, nothing on this censer is damaged or broken, that I am aware of.

Description

Black and a little dusty. Says LC SMITH 12 on the top. Silent Lc Smith and Corona Typewriters on the bottom. Still in working condition though may need some care. I can't find anything EXACT to match it anywhere online, only similar pieces.
