This is a pretty picture called" HALFWAY House. It is painted by William Shayer. It is a big Print. The wooden Frame is old and it has a brass tag on it with the artist name William Shayer and the Print name Halfway House. This is an 40x27 picture in a brown wooden frame. Condition: It has a few bubbles on the print which is not visible and a few scratches. The frame has some scratches also, but good condition. It has a wire on the back for hanging. This is a very heavy picture.
My husband found this bell in a creek. It is stamped "C & G Mears Founder London 1858" on the outside. I did find out that C & G Mears is currently called Whitechapel Foundry. I did verify from Whitechapel's website that during 1844-1861, the name C & G Mears was used. I also know what this bell was made at the same place and time (1858) as the Big Ben bell. And the Whitechapel foundry is also who made the Liberty Bell. This bell does not have a clapper.
