I purchased this bowl from a local thrift store. It has two brown handles in a braided or twisted rope pattern. The inside of the bowl is a dark turquoise and about 1" deep with maple(?) leaves overlapping the edges.
It is heavy pottery that weighs 3 lbs. It measures 9" in diameter. There is a mark on the bottom that appears to be the letter S in the center of the letter A. Can you identify this mark? Also, how old do you think it might be and what is its value?
VERY UNIQUE, I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING CLOSE TO IT, THE FIGURES ON IT COME FROM A DYNASTY PERIOD, I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE. I HOPE YOU CAN TELL ME MORE ABOUT IT.
I am trying to find out about this hutch. If it is old or not. All I know is that the wood is thicker than any I have seen on a hutch. there are many areas that make me think it was hand built . Pencil lines marking nail line. areas around side and under that show stain brush marks. but the screws are philips. hinges look older. can someone please help me to identify this hutch.. thanks
