THIS IS SUPPOSSED TO BE A LITHOGRAPH OF SCHAEFER AND MILES ORIGINAL ART CALLED "WOODLAND WALK" DONE BY A PUBLISHING COMPANY IN 1994 OUT OF CALIFORNIA CALLED PORTAL PUBLISHING. THERE IS PRINTING ALONG THE BOTTOM ,GIVING INFORMATION ABOUT THE ART. THIS COMPANY IS NO LONGER IN BUSSINESS.
I bought this metal box at a swap meet, not sure about any history on it. It is made of some sort of metal, (lid of box heavier than the rest) unsure but it looks like a brass or copper alloy. Looks handmade. Has three themes on the front, one is the birth of Christ, the second is Ezekiel's wheel, and the third has a queen with a Rabbi holding weights with a small sheep beside the lower part of the queen's dress. Not knowing the history is driving me crazy, if someone could tell me the history of this box or what it was worth, it would be much appreciated. Inside the box is wood, not sure if the wood is original or not. There is absolutely no writing or marks on it of any kind that I can see at all, Ive even pulled out the wood inside and looked there.
