This was passed down in the Swasnon family of swedish descent, to the oldest son, as far back as be remembered, for generation and generations.  It was also carried through the civil war, by Peter Swanson of Bishop Hill Illinois, a Swedish settlement.  He was in the 57th regiment,and served throughout General Sherman's campaign, which we will send documentaion.

That is as far back as I can trace the origns of this piece, I'm the last of the oldest sons of my family, so I have had this heirloom for many years.

This stove is complet and not warped. The chrome trim is dull.

Not sure if this is bone or ivory. Left shoulder has small chip.  Can you please appraise this item for me?

Kinfolks Host and Hostess Carving set. 2 Carving knives, one engraved with Host, the other Hostess, and a forged fork. They have wood pointed handles. They are in a woden case with a sharening block on the bottom (never used). I don't have a picture I can provide. The picture provided is a similar looking knife.

 I got the item on a visit to tajikistan, afghanistan region , there alot of other items , this is the first one I have and It looks

valuable I have no idea how much its worth or anything else.  Everything I know I have mentioned
