There wasn't much I can find about these rings. I was asked by a friend if I could possibly sell them for her. However, the buy was a rather impulsive one on her part at an auction a while back. I mean to say that she barely knows anything about them either. So I found this site and posted this to see if anyone with more knowledge of the objects would be so kind as to enlighten me. It would be greatly appreciated.
Very heavy carved wood chairs, about three and a half feet tall as shown below. They come in two pieces and you slide the bottom chair into the back rest. I don't know much else I can say beyond what the pictures show. I don't know how old other than the person I bought them from said his parents had them for forty years plus and that they obtained them from a friend in the Navy who travelled all over the world. Any information would be tremedously appreciated.

I don’t have knowledge about this cabinet or its maker, any advice or opinion greatly appreciated.
It belonged to an elderly neighbor who said her aunt from England who was honored for her work with the Canadian army during WW II had offered it to her as a special gift after the war.
She cherished it dearly! I was planning on selling it eventually.
If anyone can shed some light about its aprox period, wood type, estimated value, I would be very grateful!
Thank-you so much!
