Painting itself is in good condition but the frame looks a little beat up. I bought this at an antique shop for 10.00. I would like to know it's value, for possible sale, not sure if I would like to part with it though.
I have three of them, I have owned them for 45 years but think they are probably much older as they were my grandmothers before that. The gold is embossed in a pattern of little dots. They appear to be hand painted and the outlines are embossed ( indented through the back).
I want to know how old they are and what they are worth.
We acquired a radio/record player from the 50's through a relative. We believe we are the 2nd or 3rd owners of it. It still works both the radio and the record player. It has 4 legs that can be attached or detached but one of the legs is broken so in the picture they don't show we still have all 4 legs also the cloth material on the front of the radio is detaching but seems to be repairable. We are relocating to another state in a few weeks and want to get rid of it ASAP. Make us an offer.

It is a tusk of some sort, not sure from what type of animal. It has very detailed Chinese type characters and art carved on 90% of it.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to test to see if it is real Ivory or not.
Its 19" long & weighs 3.2 lbs. It is 8" round at the big end. Its also painted with great detail. It has a signature written in chinese on the end of it. It is buffed out to be very smooth and shiny.
It has 7 characters on one side & 8 on the other. They are all dressed up in robes with writing and symbols on there clothing. They all seemed to be playing some type of instruments in there hands. There are dragons carved in it at the ends on both sides.
