This dresser has a large beveled mirror, quarter sawn oak and four beautiful claw feet (two on the bottom front legs and two on the "mirror holder"). The top is 24" deep. I am 42 years old and this belonged to my great grandmother... so its at least that old. All hardware is original as is the beveled mirror. I'm asking $250. Email me if interested and I can give you my address to come take a look. It really is a nice piece. Do yourself a favor and come take ganders for yourself. It's priced to sell!!!
BEAUTIFUL ALABASTER BIRD LAMP. THIS LAMP STANDS ABOUT 14" HIGH. I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS FROM THE 20'S AND IS HAND CARVED ALABASTER. IT HAS A FEW VERY MINOR CHIPS BUT IS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR ITS AGE.
I've done some reasearch on this object myself but I can't figure out what it's used for! So far I know it's from 1862 judging by the letter hallmark on the bottom, it's also from Sheffield in England manufactured by James Dixon and Sons. It's sterling 925. I have a feeling I'm missing a piece to this- maybe a glass dish that goes in the top?
This is a last supper figurine that was given to us as a christmas present in 1986. We have never taken it out of the box and displayed it until now. I know nothing else about it.
