This is clearly a Leopold Co typewriter desk, based on my research at the U of Iowa Digital library about Leopold Co.
Has 3 drawers on one side with the bottom drawer a little deeper than the top two. Drawers have partitions and letter holding removable partitions. The center lifts and folds over to accomodate a typewriter. There are holes in this part of the desk, as if there used to be a typewriter attached at one time or the other. Legs have adjustable height attachments.
The top of the desk seems weather beaten or water damaged, but the desk itself is in good condition otherwise, sturdy and fully functional.
This item is a carving of a young Buddha, in the Tibetan or Nepalese style, rather than the fat buddhas usually seen. Carvings on the robe (see close-up) and on base.
This set has 2 teapots a creamer pot and a sugar pot. I do not have the silver tray that goes with it. There are some spots where the silver has rubbed thin but it still shines and is in good condition. No tarnish on the insides of the pots they are all nice and look good. Each pot has leaves and flowers engraved on them. I could not get my camera to take a picture of the mark but it is DBL(each letter is inside a box) and there is a shield above them. I don't have any other information on these pieces.
