TRUNK OPENS STANDING UP. ON TH ELEFT SIDE ARE 10 CLOTHES HANGERS, A BRIEFCASE, AND A LINEN COVER. ON TH RIGHT SIDE ARE 4 DRAWERS. THE LOCK ON MY TRUNK IS BROKEN BUT IT DID COME WITH A REPLACEMENT LOCK AND KEY.
THIS IS VERY UNUSUAL IT LOOKS LIKE 4 STACKED BOOKS AND OPENS UP AND HAS A HINGE WITH A HOLDER FOR THE DECANTER AND 4 SHOT GLASSES WITH GOLD PLATED AROUND THE RIMS OF ALL.. MADE IN FRANCE. IT HAS A CROWN ON THE TOP OF THE STACK ALL HAVE NAMES ON EACH BOOK. TALLEST BOOK - VICTOR HUGO SA VIE SES EUVRES. 2ND BOOK-JEAN RICHEPEN MIARKA. 3RD- MOLIERE- OMEDIES 4TH-HISTOIRE- D'ANGLETFRR. EACH BOOK HAS DIFFERENT GOLD COLORED MARKINGS ON EACH BOOK.
THIS GLASS IS A MOLDED LIQUOR GLASS. WE WERE TOLD IT WAS FROM THE DEPRESSION ERA BUT SOME GLASSWARE WAS MOLDED INSTEAD OF ETCHED IT HAS 3 FLOWERS ON IT AND 3 LARGE LEAVES. WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS MADE PROBABLY DURING THE DEPRESSION
water glasses and sherbet cups are plain except for 3 stars etched or hand done. we were told they were done by hand because they are deeper than the etched items 7 water and 6 sherbet cups
i researched and found them under potomac glassware. i found the goblet but no prices. i also have the shot glasses that match, no info on those. i have 8 goblets and (1) a little smaller than the reg shot glasses (6)
