This is what seems to be an orignal long sword from the Renasiance. It is made of all iron and wieghs a good amount. The blade is very long and also yery straight. There seems to be one side that looks as if the blade may have seen some action. The cross-section blade that seperates the handle and the blade is what seems to be a Double Fuller Cross-section Blade. The design on the sword looks as if the twist was hand ffiled instead of made by a machine. This pre-industrial piece shows blacksmith qualities. The bottom base of the Sword has signs of hand made nailing of the enire piece. The only identifing mark is the one hallmark. We need help identifing this piece as it relates to its iconography. This will help me establis a more definitive description and wherabouts of this magnificant piece of higher class offensive millitary weapons that is from an earlier time.
