This painting was given to me by my Grandmother before she passed away. Im not sure if it is worth anything, but I have owned it for atleast 10 years myself, and I know my Grandmother owned it for a long time. If anyone had any insight, I would appreciate their opinion.

Stunning Thomas Shaw solid silver snuff box with gilt interior Birmingham hallmark 1834.

The box lid is very detailed and depicts a meeting of 19th century gentlemen in jovial mood partaking of a

foaming ale - one gentleman appears to be regaling his audience of a tale or perhaps a bawdy joke!

The box is fully decorated on all sides as can be seen from the photos and it measures 8x6cm and 2cm in depth.

The inside of the box is fully hallmarked top and bottom.

There is on little flaw in this 176 year old box and that is a tiny 4mm tear on the right hand side corner next to the hinge (not on the hinge) which is barely visible - otherwise the box is in excellent condition.

I would be interested to know what the scene on the lid depicts as I can find no information on it.

Asian boats at sea. Night and Day. Maby war time?

This quadruple silver plated fruit bowl has incredible detail with two crossed hammers symbol number "2306" .    It has ornate handles and 4 feet. The inside of the bowl has a very detailed farm house scene and bird in a tree scene. Also there are four shells on each corner. 

Large lamp

Hand painted "poppies?"  on opaque glass bowl attached to base with cord and lightbulb.  

Very tall "hand"? embroidered lamp shade with liner.  Still wrapped but liner has a slit (liner only, not the shade).   Cream colored scalloped shade.
