this ashtray is fairly heavy with a strange bottom made of some kind of colorful material that is broken up and crystal-like but smooth to the touch. The bottom is hand written and their are two indents on either side.
This is a Duplex Oil lamp. It has a brass double wick. Above the double brass wick is a long round duplex chimney. Below the double brass wick is blue glass that breaks down into 2 pieces. The whole duplex oil lamp is just under a meter tall.
Unused Hoffman Doe and Fawn Whiskey Decanter. 4/5 quart in the original box. Has ben stored at my grandmothers house with other collectables. I am looking for an appraisal of this piece.
It's a cabinet with an oil painting on the door and some decorative ceramic inserts and a marble top. History is unknown, but apparently it was made sometime mid - to late 19th century and it's been in my family since. It's made from solid mahogany and has recently been restored
I am guessing it is from the Richmond, Virginia area, but can't find any info on Richmond Dairy. Also found milk bottles from Ellerslie Dary Inc/Petersburg, VA in the same pile of bottles. I can't find any history info on either Dairy.
Would love to know more history of where this bottle came from, it's age and how much it could be worth today.
