this is a two handled handpainted oriental vase. The dragon appears to be painted with gold. I was told it is pre 1900 . There is some sort of oriental markings on the bottom, but I don't know if it is Chinese or Japanese
This dish is a family hairloom, and bears ther Nippon Hand Painted mark on the bottom. It belonged to my great-grandmother, and was given to my mother. It was he favorite piece when she was little, and she loved to look at it.
The dish is white, with raised gold ornamentation, and indet in green. There's also little roses inside and out, some framed by gold flourishes.
There is some wear on the bottom, and the top edges are worn slightly.
Chess set - solid wood box that opens to a full chess board. chess board is marble with engraved markings. inside the box are the ivory chess pieces that are hand carved depicting what looks like Mexican army on one side and American army on the other.
