its a bronze plaque inlaid in a wood frame, the plaque itself fits into a carved out place in a plank of wood it is not visable from the back. held in place by two very small nails, it looks like the carved wooden frame was made specifically for this piece.

Looking to learn about this piece, as I will likely sell it. It seems to be in close to working order, but may require some repair. I haven't messed with it too much.

1920 Emil J Paidar barber chair w/o headrest.

Simply beautiful.  The edges of the headboard and footboard are curved inward.  The footboard has slight in and out curving along the length.  There are intricate hand carvings along the top of the headboard and also along the top and bottom of the footboard. The feet at the head of the bed are curved, solid pieces about 8inches in width.   The feet at the foot of the bed have beautiful carvings and are a "claw foot" shape. Sideboards with hooks connects the head and foot.  Please note that in the picture that is of the entire bed there is a glare or flaw in the photo. It is not a blemish on the headboard.
