My wife recieved this desk as a gift. Its in excellent condition. After looking on the internet , I cannot find any information on this item. Would like to know history and value. Thanks
Fred Hider, brother of Arthur Henry Hider, lived with my family from 1952 to 1970's. After Arthurs wife died, he lived with Fred until 1952 when he died. He lived with Fred for 18 years and ended up losing his mind. Fred lived with us ever since I was learning to walk and attended my wedding in 1971.
Fred gave me the lithographs when i was a teen and I'm 58 and still have them.
This information gained from the Power House Museum website describes a the porcelain dish, designed by Dale Holbourn for the Empire Porcelain Co. England between 1940 - 1950.
