I found a box of old nick 'nack's in the shed and wanted to find out if any of them were worth anything before i put them out at a yard sale for cheap as sin...basicly this is my inheritance...
very beatifull pieces and in excellent condition except the women has $6.99 written on her bottom from when she was purshased at a yard sale..and she has some sort of blue smudge om her breast.
these are also a few more sets of figures that were packed away in the same box..
and none of them have any marking to be identified so please if anyone knows any thing about any of these pieces feel free to email me i can send better pictures upon request.. thank you..
It is a color painting (I think). It shows 9 american ships. along the bottom of the picture, there are seven names, I'm guessing of the ships. they are: Baltimore, Concord, Olympia, Petrel, Boston, Raleigh, McCulloch. and then it sayd "transports".
In the far bottom left corner it says. "N.1213. Published by Muller Luchsinger &Co. 98
it is Titled: Asiatic Squadron and underneath the title it says Admiral Dewey.
