These glass lustres were part of my wifes grandmothers estate. We are interested in finding their value and also interested in selling them as they are not our style
The piece is very heavy and solid. There is a lot of detail on the faces of the couple. The man is pruning a plant and the woman is doing needlepoint. The base has some gold trim and it is fading from age but there are no cracks or chips. The gold and red foil sticker on the bottom is Ucagco. There is also a white paper sticker with China ___ glass and a number. The paper sticker is torn and not completely legible.
I have a vase with what looks like an oriental pattern on it. The vase is 6" high with a 2" diameter top. The bottom is signed Holt Howard with the date 1959. I would like to more about this piece and its value. Thank you!
I have a charming picture of an owl painted on glass and signed by R. White. The glass is lifted from the back of the frame to create a slight shadow of the owl, almost like a very thin shadow box. The frame looks like wicker and feels like plastic or bakelite, but this could be due to many coats of lacquer over the wicker. I would like to know more about this piece and its value. Thank you!
