My fiancée bought me a beautiful Art Nouveau engagement ring. We have since realized that there is a Belais Brothers stamp on the inside of the ring and we are wondering if that makes the piece more valuable. The piece has _incredibly_ detailed and beautiful filigree work: it looks like flowers and vines intertwining up the sides. As I said above, the ring is a diamond solitaire: Old Mine cut, .23 carat diamond. Though the diamond is a bit small, it is E-F in color and VS2 (or better) clarity. Unfortunately, I can't get any good pictures of it. But I was wondering if anybody could help us begin to assess the value of it. Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
There are many cards - some have numbers for playing cards & others have just a white back. There's an entire book full of all different pictures, some with flowers, some with sailboats, some with old time scenery & some with people such as George Washington or Ben Franklin. There are also some seperate from the book.
