The tray in question is stamped Barbour S P Co / International S CC
5336B/24 Hand Chased. The approximate size (out to out) is 20" x 25". The edges of the tray have a raised "grapevine" design. The center portion of the tray also has an engraved grapevine pattern.

It is a beautiful piece. I really don't know what it is called. It looks like something you would put syrup in. It is in excellent condition. I don't think it has ever been used.

The color is not original from I can see or at least I think its not. Got it for free but was just wondering how much it is worth?

This is an Antique rolltop cylinder desk, I have been told it is victorian and possibly eastlake, I think it is from the late 1800's has minor wood missing at the upper left side of glass cabinet.
