I have a pair of matching floor lamps that I bought from my boss. He used to be in the lamp restoration business 30 years ago. He told me these were of the art deco period, but they look like arts & crafts to me.
They are unique in that the top arm of the lamps that hold the shade are in the shape of arrows. These arms appear to be hammered metal along with the base. The shades are hammered, but I don't know what kind of metal they are made of.
The lamps have been rewired and refinished by my boss. I am just curious to find out more information on the time period, style, and value of these pieces. See photos.
Family member purchased item many years ago. Originally darker finish which has since been stripped and refinished to current color. Nice wood, Alder I believe? Good/Excellent condition.
This vintage toy horse is made of wood. Hand carved with many details. Glass eyes and what appears to be cast iron wagon wheels. The head moves up and down. There is a little piece missing from the right ear, besides that it is in very good condition. It definately has some history and would make a great addition to any toy collection.
