Jefferson Woodworking Drop Leaf Table with Chairs

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

The table, a Duncan Phyfe style I believe, is drop-leaf table with four chairs. The table has been in the family at least since the 1950s, and maybe earlier. The table includes four chairs with beautiful handcrafted needlepoint cushions.

The table and chairs are in good condition but not perfect. In the smallest configuration, the table measures 42” wide by 26” long by 30” high. With the drop leaves up, the length is 57”. With the three 14” leaves in place, the length is 99”. The table features three pedestal bases which give support for the extended length.

The table is stamped “Jefferson Woodworking Company” and has the number 432 stamped on a slide.
