This chair is leather and metal and in great condition. There are only a couple of scuff marks on the metal and the metal on the foot rests are a little worn. There is no date marked on the chair. It is very ornate.
MY GRANDMOTHER LEFT THIS WATCH TO ME, WHEN I TURNED 18 YEARS OLD IT WAS GIVEN TO ME. I'VE HAD IT IN MY POSSITION FOR ALMOST 38 YEARS. THE WATCH BAND MEASURES 4 INCHES. THE CLASP ON THE BAND SAYS 1120- 12K GOLD FILLED.
PAT. 2097.055 U.S.A.
ON THE ENDS OF THE BAND THERE ARE O RINGS
PAT.2.266.951
ON THE INSIDE TOP CASE NUMBER 783
ON THE INSIDE BACK CASE NUMBER2783
THE CASING HAS NO IDENTIFING NUMBER.IT DOES HAVE THE WORDS.. CRYSLER WATCH COMPANY, SEVENTEEN, 17 JEWELS
SWISS, UNADJUSTED, YXD
THERE ARE 2 DIAMONDS SET IN A SILVER TRIANGLE THAT CONNECTS THE WATCH TO THE BAND.
THE NAME CRYSLER ALSO APPEARS ON THE DIAL.I TRIED TO SHOW THE THICKNESS OF THE CRYSTAL, BUT I IS NOT VERY CLEAR.
THE 2 NUMBERS 783 AND 2783 THAT ARE ON THE INSIDE OF THE CASES HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO IDENTIFY.I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN,AND IF ANYONE HAS EVERSEEN OR HEARD OF THIS WATCH COMPANY. I'VE TAKEN IT TO SEVERAL ANTIQUE DEALERS BUT THEY HAD NEVER SEEN THE CRYSLER WATCH COMPANY BEFORE. IT ALSO RUNS LIKE IT WAS NEW.
The watch still runs, but is missing crystal and minute hand. The interior is clean and shiny and the movements are clean and shiny. It is 15 jewels. There are markings for Deuber, but I think the movement was built by Waltham.
These paintings has been in my family for a very long time , I loved them throughout my childhood, so my mother gave them to me 40 years ago, it been in my home ever since, signed by the artist wijmer on the top right, no company stamp on the back, it is a mountain scene, measures,3ft tall X 6ft wide in a nice antique original gold frame. we never had it appraised. hope you can tell me something about this painting . by the way we had two paintings signed by wijmer same size, but it was damage and I threw it away 14 years ago.
SOMEONE TOLD US IT WAS AN OLD FILE CABINET. I THOUGHT IT WAS A WIERD DRESSER. IT ALMOST LOOKS HOME MADE. THERE IS A INSPECTOR STICKER IN THE TOP DRAWER. BUT THAT COULD BE JUST FOR THE WOOD IT WAS MADE FROM. OTHER THAN THAT I DONT HAVE MUCH INFOR ON IT. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IT IS AND IF IT HAS ANY VALUE?
