Unfortunatly i have not got a picture to upload at the moment but can get one on request
Description wise i really dont know how to describe it, but ill try!
it is very striking, imense detail and there isnt a single space on the barometer that isnt covered in detailed wooden carving.
It would appear that the carvings resemble (as i can best describe) hatchet shaped wepons?! with spears, 3 a side, with a "scroll" effect half way up the tubing, by that i mean a scroll of rolled up paper?!
A huge half moon shaped wooden top is above the tubing with plenty of detail.
There is alot of "rolled/spirelled" wood effect around the design
I have never seen anything like this before and have scowerd the internet trying to find anything that sort of resembles what i have here, but with no such luck.
Hoping that maybe this could be a very interesting piece with a very interesting history?
Thanks for looking,
Laura Houston

Piece has 2.75" "backsplash" piece that runs the entire width on back edge.
Arched door on left and right side opens to reveal a shelf and a slide out drawer. Leftt side slide out is a two level piece and bears the stenciled mark of 194-66 on bottom. Right side is single level pull-out with no markings.
Center of piece has 2 drawers. Top drawer is 3.5" deep without knobs or handles. There are finger grooves on lower edge for opening/closing. Lower drawer is 8.5" deep with 2 wooden pulls that match the knobs on side doors.
Mark appears in rear of upper center drawer.
Backside of piece is stenciled with two lines of text that I believe to read - I37DI9IM with the number 607 below the first line of stenciling.
Any assistance with information on this piece would be greatly appreciated. Approximate date of manufacture, current retail value, etc.
Thank You

They're made of pieced together material (I think bone) and there are distinct variations in color from piece to piece as well as some porous areas. They're beautifully hand carved and in good shape, but obviously pretty old.
