This is a beer horn from 1981 engraved. The leather holder refers to Faxe beer in Denmark, but I believe this is from a German festival as the sticker on the horn is German language.
this item is in mint condition except that the black slate looking box on to of the table is pulling up a little bit in a couple areas. their is a big brass knob on it with a flower style in the middle and rope look around it. I'm not looking for a solid price I was going to refinish it and modify it until a saw the merman name. I just need a basic price range and to know if I alter it I'm ruining a piece of history.
These are wall mounted with two chrome legs on the front side for additional support. The knobs for hot and cold are dome shaped and are in perfect condition. The faucet is porcelain and it part of the actual sink. I don't have a manufacturer. I don't currently have a picture. I want to buy from the homeowner, but need to know approximate value.
Has original silver metal ceiling plate (not in photos). One crystal missing, 3 are chipped. Rusted parts can be seen in photos. Was this style made in the early 1900's? Any information would be appreciated. My cousin said an antique dealer told her it was worth about $1,000.
