This is a BEAUTIFUL table that my grandparents kept in excellent condition! I've been trying to do research to at least find similar pieces, but with no luck (no signature of the maker). All I know is that either they or their parents purchased this hand-carved piece in the 30's or 40's.
From all I have seen this is the 1959 Chicago Coin Playland Rifle Arcade Machine with Moving Targets. The only thing on e-bay is the schematic manual, and the flyer for it. It looks just like the one in the flyer.http://marvin3m.com/arcade/playlan.htm
The picture features Jesus holding a white baby in his lap and a young black girl kneeling and looking up to Jesus with hands clasped in reverence.Jesus has his right hand on the girls head. There is a Lamb at his feet and a white heart above the girls head with the words "Jesus Died For Both" in black. The picture is black and white in color and is still in the original frame with the original holding wire attached to it.Do not have equipment to send photo, but is it possibel this could be of value?
