This is a GORGEOUS octagonal antique "Heritage" signed/stamped commode/end table. This table does have the "Heritage name stamped inside the front door. These tables were called "commodes" long ago and still are, but not as common. It is not a toilet. This table is in EXCELLENT condition for it's age (just a few scratches here and there that are minor) and is quite large. It measures approximately 30" wide X 30" long and is about 19" tall. I will include a link about the Heritage company that will give you a little bit of information about the quality of the furniture that I found online. I'm almost sure that the wood is Walnut with Mahogany (or burled Walnut). These were the commonly used woods long ago. This is solid wood and has TONS OF STORAGE SPACE underneath the table. All of the hardware/knobs are original.
Here is a link about the "Heritage" company which was bought by "Drexel" in 1956 (this is information that I found Ebay online):
I am responsible for liquidating my grandmothers estate and thought I'd check to see if anyone can give me any info on these gold leaf plates (see photos) before I sell them for almost nothing. I have been told by my grandmother these plates and 2 other similar plates (with different beehive marks) are worth a great deal, but I was unable to find the plates markings anywhere on the internet, particularly, the solid, black star mark with "Silesia" underneath the star.
