Japanese "Dragon Ware, tea set

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

a bright contrasting palette, raised decorations of applied slip called moriage--this is what www.askthecollector told a lady that had sent in th e exact same picture of my tea set and valued the teapot to be $150 and cup and saucer set $25--this was many years ago and that web site is closed now. My tea set has a browish background and I haven't found any on the internet that same color-nor has any sets had the same mark on the bottom.
Depending on the price I would like to sell it and of course can provide photos. It never was used and has original straw in teapot and has the crack in bottom of creamer

Antique Sears Water Witch Electric Wringer Washer - c. 1936

Category
Vintage Electronics
Condition
Good
Description

I don't know anything about these. Google is the only reason I know that this is Sears' product - the nameplate on it says only "Water Witch Ambassador." This one was in the basement of the 1910 home that I bought in 2004. It is made of heavy sheet metal - definitely of a different alloy and thicker gauge than what you see in most appliances made in the last 30+ years.

The switches and knobs all seem to work. The larger moving parts such as the swinging wringer arm also move smoothly and seem still to be well lubricated.
