3 pc unique custom desk, armoire, bookshelf

Category
Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

I really don't know much about these pieces except that they are very well made, sturdy and quirky. Not antique, since the armoire is actually a computer desk. the handle on it is turquise and a red "scarab" shaped piece that looks like it was a belt buckle. Doors on the side open up, drawer on each side with a "cherub" like piece on the handle. The wood is in excellent condition with black accents. The desk has 2 pieces that fold up as if to hold a book, however there is no "well" to hold it. On the inside of one is a plaque with initials MDH. Two small drawers in front with antique looking coins as pulls, and 2 "beverage" pullouts. Wall unit is missing a door on lowere shelf.

Pair of Murano Glass vases

Category
Decorative Arts
Condition
Mint
Description

This is a perfect condition pair of Murano Glass vases, purchased from an antique store in Houston, Texas in the mid 80s. I do not know its date of origin. The pair is beautiful, one slightly taller than the other by less than half an inch. Both just under 9" tall, in a beautiful deep blue/turquoise with scaled pattern of characteristic bubbles. No apparent markings or flaws.
