porcelain china cup & saucer

Category
China
Condition
Excellent
Description

This is a thin, delicate porcelain. Flowers (azaleas or roses) are a vivid pink. Gold lattice and trim. I believe this item was hand made and hand painted, as I have 2 of them and they are not identical in shape or decoration.

Chinese Wood Sculpture

Category
Asian Art
Condition
Good
Description

I don't know much about this figure I think it is Confucias and Chinese but I dont know for sure I got it from a house I was cleaning trash out of for a real estate broker and there is no signature or maker mark I have found. I placed the item on craigslist and a couple people seem very interested in purchasing it but I don't like to sell art I don't know anything about so I would appreciate any information and will entertain purchase offers as well. I may list it on ebay as soon as I know more about it.

Does anyone know any info on this type of chair?

Category
European Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This was in our Mother's house, her father John Joseph McCarthy owned the Tucker Shops in San Francisco and Santa Barbara. This chair was brought over from Europe on one of his trips. We were never allowed to sit in it since it was valuable. Any information as to what style this is and where it came from will be greatly appreciated

Mahogany carved swan armchair

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Upholsterd mahogany armchair with carved swan detail on arms. Upholstery is in excellent condition, there are a few dings around the base of feet. (Feet are claw -foot, on casters) I bought this at an estate sale - there was very little information, no markings. Looking for an idea of it's value, I can't seem to find anything similar.
