It does seem to be brass plated. The underside is silver. Crystals are all in excellent condition. None are chipped and item has all original crystals.
I've looked all over the internet and haven't found a set exactly like this one. Grey and White with white lustre interior and geisha lithophane, yes seen those. But only a cup and saucer similar to this with the golden interior (is it gold?). Anyone have any ideas as to its value, age, etc?, also best way to polish up the interior? thanks Dan
Basically, the design is all done on an olive seed.
The designs is of a boat with people on top. There is also some chinese calligraphy etched at the bottom but the words are difficult to make out due to the size.
I included a few photos which includes one with a bottlecap in order to show the scale of the object.
This cash drawer was used in a business operated by a mr.Williams in Clark County. It was opened by pressing hardware under the drawer, causing the bell
(inside the drawer) to ring.
Please note that the slots for currency are much larger than modern bills, dating this to the pre-1930's when currency notes were made smaller.
Please use caution when closing drawer as it may be difficult to open. Photo will be loaded shortly.
